Project Description:

Hansen Park is a 5.5 acre neighborhood park that provides a variety of gathering spaces for the village residents to support play, picnicking, sports and leisure activities. The covered group picnic and BBQ area is flanked by agrarian themed play structures for children ages 2-5 years and 5-12 years. The play structures as well as small groves of edible fruit trees and drought tolerant landscape tie into this village’s agricultural character and identity. Additional park amenities include youth sized ball field, joint use sports turf fields, looped jogging trail and small individual picnic areas.
