Project Description:

Cienega Heights consists of 80 units of affordable housing adjacent a native wetland within Santa Cruz County. The project consists of 3 residential buildings nestled into a gently sloping hillside. The large outdoor common area takes advantage of the site’s challenging grades to provide a variety of outdoor activity spaces including: shaded outdoor barbecues and dining, children’s play area, flex lawn, and amphitheater. Also incorporated into the project are community raised garden planters and a wetland overlook area.
